You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of Cowbit Parish Council, which will be held at 7:30pm on Monday the 7th of September in the Village Hall, Barrier Bank, Cowbit.  The meeting will commence following a 15-minute public forum, which will start at 7:30pm prompt, to which you are also required to attend.

AGENDA

1. To receive and approve apologies for absence.

2. To receive Declarations of Interest in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 and to consider any requests for dispensations.

3. To approve the Minutes of the July meeting and for the Chair to sign them as a true record.

4. Matters arising from the Minutes, (not covered in this agenda).

5. Clerk’s Report on matters outstanding 

a. Correspondence.

6. Finance Matters: 

a. to receive Bank Reconciliations for July and August.

b. to receive a list of recent receipts and the Summary Budget Report.

c. to approve invoices for payment received since the last meeting.

7. Resolve that Mossop & Bowser are acting on behalf of Cowbit Parish Council in relation to the First Registration of the Cowbit Playing Field.

8. Highways Matters and to receive the CSW report for July and August.

9. Planning Matters.  To agree a response to any applications received since the last meeting.

10. Police matters.  To receive the online Police report.

11. Items to be included on the next meeting’s agenda. 

12. To confirm the date of the next meeting, set for Monday the 9th of November. 

13. To resolve whether to move into closed session and exclude public, police and press (who will be required to leave the meeting at this stage), in accordance with  the Local Government Act 1972),  due to the confidential nature of business to be discussed in relation to the following matters:-

14. To resolve to award a contract for works to make the Pavilion accessible, following receipt of grant funding from LCC.
